What a padel court costs in Lithuania

There is no single price for padel in Lithuania. There are four, working at once: the city, whether the court has a roof, the hour of the day and the day of the week. We read every public arena timetable for two weeks and worked out what each of those four is actually worth.

Three numbers that frame the rest

Indoor courts vs outdoor

In July the gap is smaller than you’d expect: outdoor courts sit at a median of €18 an hour, indoor at €20. Mid-season, an outdoor court isn’t a discount — it’s a real alternative, and it’s priced like one. The middle half of indoor courts falls between €16 and €28 an hour; outdoor, between €13 and €24.

The cleanest comparison is the seven arenas that run both. Same venue, same fortnight, so nothing else moves.

In five of the seven the indoor court costs more. In one the two are level, and at APK in Klaipėda the outdoor court is the dearer of the pair. The steepest roof premium belongs to UNIQA Arena and Drevernos Uostas, where indoor is close to double.

The hour costs more than the city does

From 07:00 to 16:00 the median indoor court is €20 an hour across the whole country, and it barely moves. At 17:00 it jumps to €28 and holds there for four hours. That is +40% for the same court four hours later. The outdoor curve is much flatter — €16 in the daytime, €20 in the evening. The roof is what arenas actually charge the peak premium for.

A weekend evening is cheaper than a weekday one. Between 17:00 and 21:00 on a weekday the median indoor court is €28 an hour; the same hour on Saturday or Sunday is €20. Peak pricing in Lithuania isn’t “the evening” — it’s “the evening after work”.

Where it’s cheapest, and where it isn’t

Vilnius and Kaunas play in their own league. Klaipėda, second by number of arenas, puts an indoor court on the board for close to half the price — and Palanga, resort status notwithstanding, is the cheapest of the larger padel towns.

A weekday evening in Vilnius has a median of €36 an hour, or €9 a player. The same hour in Klaipėda is €20, or €5 a player. Play twice a week for a year and that gap is roughly €400 a season per person.

The five cheapest arenas and the five priciest

The extremes: the cheapest slot anywhere in the country is €7 an hour (in Panevėžys and in Klaipėda), the dearest €46 an hour in Vilnius. That is 6.6 times the price for the same sport in the same country.

What to do with it

• Schedule flexible? Play before 16:00. You save €8 an hour, and there are several times as many free courts.
• Evenings only? Take the weekend over Wednesday: the same hour costs €20 instead of €28.
• Considering an outdoor court? In July it is not automatically cheaper — compare both options at the same arena before you book.
• Running an arena?Your growth isn’t one more evening hour. It’s the daytime, already priced €8 lower and still standing empty.

Methodology

The source is the public booking timetables of 56 Lithuanian padel arenas, read for the period 2026-07-10 to 2026-07-25 — 123,919 slots with a published price, or roughly 62,000 court-hours. Arenas publish a price per 30-minute slot, so every figure in this article is doubled: it is the price of one hour of a whole court, not the price per player.

We use the median rather than the mean, so that a handful of very expensive arenas cannot lift the whole picture. “The middle half” is the 25th to 75th percentile. Excluded from the figures: arenas outside Lithuania, slots with no published price, and a few clearly broken records (above €60 an hour for a 30-minute slot). Prices are the arenas’ own published rates and take no account of discounts, season passes or membership tariffs.
